종의 자세

열왕기하 4-5장

God provides what his people need with abundance. Elisha cared about the needs of the people rather than his own need. He was not depressed about the situation, but acted according to his trust in God. Gehazi thought it was impossible to feed one hundred people with twenty loaves of barley bread and some heads of new grain. This is a form of unbelief that does not to trust in God.
The life of the individual and even the fate of a nation depend on the hand of God. Gehazi was blinded by the meterial world. He did not see the richness of the kingdom of God, but sought after the material things of this world. Greed is worshiping idols instead of God

종은 순종하는 훈련이 필요하다. 종은 사회에서 인정받는 기준대로 인정받길 원해서는 안된다.

종으로 훈련안된 게하시를 살펴보면서, 거창고등학교의 직업십계명이 생각났다.

1. 월급이 많은 곳보다 적은 쪽을 택하라.
2. 내가 원하는 곳이 아니라 나를 필요로 하는 곳으로 가라.
3. 승진 조건이 없는 곳으로 가라.

5. 앞 다투어 모이는 곳으로 가지 말고 아무도 가지 않는 곳으로 가라.
6. 장래성이 전혀 없는 곳으로 그러나 기쁘게 일할 수 있는 곳으로 가라.
7. 부러움의 대상이 아니라 존경 받을 수 있는 곳으로 가라.
8. 한 가운데가 아니라 변방으로 가라.
9. 주위 사람과 배우자가 반대하면 틀림없다. 그 곳으로 가라.
10. 영광의 자리가 아니라 단두대가 있고 십자가가 있는 곳으로 가라.
